February 14, 2006It's been eight months since we last saw Ernie Els on the PGA Tour. And it's fitting that his return will come at Riviera, the site of one of his bigger wins (a victory over Tiger in the 1999 Nissan Open) and biggest disappointments (a near-miss in the '95 PGA Championship).
Two new events for California in 2007?
February 14, 2006U.S. PGA Tour officials are closing in on deals that would bring two events to California in the autumn of 2007. One tournament would be in Fresno at Running Horse Golf Club, which is being designed by Jack Nicklaus II and is scheduled to open this autumn. What makes it unique is that the charitable partner will be U.S. war veterans.
