'Platoon' gets second shot at Cannes fest (Reuters)

Reuters - Twenty years after it was turned down for selection by the Cannes organizers, Oliver Stone's Vietnam drama "Platoon" will screen at the 2006 edition of the festival next month to coincide with a DVD re-release.
