The world's greatest--and seemingly oldest--rock 'n' roll band is on track to make its mainland debut Apr. 8 in Shanghai, exactly three years after having to scrap a series of Chinese gigs due to the SARS epidemic.
Mick and the boys will play Shanghai's Grand Stage, an 8,000-seat venue in the heart of China's bustling metropolis. According to China-based promoter Emma Entertainment, ticket prices will range between 300 to 3,000 yuan, or roughly $37 to $370.

For British police, Pete Doherty is the gift that keeps on giving.
Of course at this point, it may be more expeditious for the trouble-magnet rocker to bypass the time-consuming process of actually getting arrested and just haul himself off to court.
As it is, Doherty was picked up by police yet again, this time in Birmingham Monday night on suspicion of car theft and possession of Class A drugs, charges which may result, finally, in jail time for the on-probation rocker.

The hip-hop star, who was arrested along with brother and fellow rapper Silkk the Shocker last year after LAPD officers found handguns in their car, were ordered on Monday to stand trial for weapons possession.
A judge ruled that there was enough evidence to charge the 38-year-old P (born Percy Robert Miller) and Silkk (Vyshonn Miller), 30.
They are due back in court Mar. 13.
