Theater, the Allman Brothers Band is once again defying the

Boy George cut a deal with New York City prosecutors to avoid jail time for a cocaine bust last fall.
The 44-year-old "Karma Chameleon" singer pleaded guilty Wednesday to a lesser charge of falsely reporting a burglary during a brief appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court. He got off with five days of community service and a $1,000 fine, and was ordered to enroll in a drug rehabilitation program.

Pete Doherty could set a personal record with not one but two court dates in as many days.
The preternaturally troubled rocker was charged with seven counts of drug possession Tuesday, stemming from the last of his outstanding arrests from earlier this year.
Shortly after the charges were filed in the morning, he headed over to Thames Magistrates Court for the first of his required monthly check-ins stemming from that guilty plea last month.
Despite arriving 30 minutes late and testing positive in two court-ordered drug tests, the judge commended the singer for making "positive progress."
