Original "American Idol" champ turned Grammy-winning pop star Kelly Clarkson is set to launch a 24-city summer tour in support of her second hit record, "Breakaway," kicking off June 30 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Clarkson says she will use the tour to preview songs from her forthcoming album, due out either later this year or in early 2007.
