Brad Pitt Rebuilds
April 20, 2006
Brad Pitt knows how to build great abs, but can he build a city?
Well, an entire city is too much for one man, even Achilles, so Pitt announced Thursday that he has teamed with national environmental group Global Green USA to sponsor a competition that will choose architects to rebuild parts of hurricane-devastated New Orleans.
The "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" star, who recently got on board with "Oceans Thirteen," is calling on people to submit environmentally friendly designs.
"This competition asks the question, can this catastrophe be turned into opportunity?" Pitt said in a statement.
Report: Roth Out
April 20, 2006
No question--things are rough for Diamond Dave.
According to published reports, CBS Radio is ready to pull the plug on the ex-Van Halen frontman's flailing morning show, and, in a surprise twist, replace him with XM Satellite stars Greg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia.
Julia Bombs B'way

Well, maybe Oprah Winfrey liked her...
The stars came out for Julia Roberts' Broadway debut Wednesday night. Unfortunately, for Roberts, so did the critics.
"Brutal" would be too harsh a word to describe Roberts' reviews for the play "Three Days of Rain"; "bad" would not.
Of the big-time New York papers, the New York Post's Clive Barnes extracted the most blood with just 10 words: "Hated the play. To be sadly honest, even hated her."
Hatch Sentencing Delayed
April 20, 2006
Richard Hatch has won his latest immunity challenge.
By immunity, we don't mean the original "Survivor" champ dubbed "the Snake" has slithered off the hook for failing to report his $1 million prize to the IRS.
Rather, a U.S. District Court judge has granted a request by Hatch's attorneys to postpone his sentencing for tax evasion from Apr. 25 to May 16 so his legal team has more time to prepare. Specifically, Hatch's lawyers want an extension to craft a response to the government's petition that he be given a stiffer prison term for allegedly lying on the stand.
