Limbaugh Pleads Not Guilty

April 28, 2006

The state of Florida has written Rush Limbaugh a prescription for staying out of jail. Now he just needs to fill it.

The conservative radio host, whose battle with an addiction to painkillers (as well as the legal foibles that went with it) went public a few years ago, was arrested Friday on a prescription drug fraud charge, according to law enforcement officials.

Limbaugh turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued by the state attorney's office. Limbaugh, with lawyer Roy Black in tow, had his mug shot taken, was booked and, an hour later, was on his way back to his seaside Palm Beach mansion after forking over $3,000 for bail.

Baldwin Bro's Coke Bust

April 28, 2006

It's a toss up as to which bodes worse for Daniel Baldwin's career: The fact that he was arrested on charges of cocaine possession or the fact that it took a week for anyone to notice.

The least known Baldwin brother was arrested on several drug-possession charges at a Santa Monica dive motel Saturday night after police responded to a phone call from a fellow guestsome reports peg the call as a noise complaint while others say it was to report a woman being threatened.
