Kenseth's Busch Series crew chief suspended

Chad Norris, crew chief for Matt Kenseth's Busch Series car, was fined $10,000 and suspended for three races on Tuesday because Kenseth's car failed its postrace inspection at Texas Motor Speedway. Kenseth, who finished fifth in Saturday's race, was penalized 25 Busch Series points and Jack Roush was docked 25 car owner points. Kenseth's car failed inspection because the quarter panels were too high following the race.

NASCAR announced today that one fine and two penalties have been issued to the No. 74 Dodge team competing in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, as a result of rule violations last week at Texas Motor Speedway.
