Three of England's top players and keys to the country's World Cup hopes - Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and John Terry - picked up worrying injuries in games Saturday. Manchester United striker Rooney was carried from the field with a foot injury. The 20-year-old grimaced in pain and clutched his right foot after a challenge by defender Paulo Ferreira 10 minutes from the end of United's 3-0 defeat at Chelsea. "Hopefully, Wayne's injury is not a bad one," United manager Alex Ferguson said.

Chelsea clinched its second straight Premier League title with a 3-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday in a game that could damage England's World Cup hopes -- United striker Wayne Rooney broke a bone in his foot and will be out six weeks. William Gallas scored on a header at home in the fifth minute, with the other goals by Joe Cole in the 61st minute and Ricardo Carvalho in the 73rd.
