"Boston Legal" reportedly is about to go where William Shatner has gone but a couple of times before.

ABC will renew the legal drama, starring Shatner and James Spader, for a third season, the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

Shatner previously lasted for five seasons on the Los Angeles police beat on "T.J. Hooker," and three seasons on the bridge of the USS Enterprise on "Star Trek."

ABC would not confirm or deny the "Boston Legal" report, noting that its fall pick-ups will be announced en masse on May 16, when its 2006-07 schedule is unveiled.

John Ventimiglia, who plays the troubled chef on the HBO Mafia hit, was busted Monday on drunken driving and cocaine possession charges near his Brooklyn home.

Meanwhile, Louis Gross, who plays Tony Sopranos' new bodyguard was arrested in a separate case for allegedly breaking in to a Queens home.
